Relay
Games (Baylympics)
Baylympics
Participants will be divided into equal teams and given
a team name (example: Red Team, Blue Team, The Lions, Tigers,
& Bears…oh my!). The teams will then be directed to one
of the many Olympic style challenges to be played starting
with the Bay City Olympic Challenge. Teams will line up
and perform a number of zany relay activities. (Example:
Silly Sack Relay, Fumble Swim Fin Relay, Through the Hoop
Chain Relay, Drunk & Sober Sobriety Test, Wacky Ball Roll,
Hi Ho Leap Frog, Spill-it-loose-it Water Brocade, Sit-Pop
the Balloon & Go, and many more). Teams will rotate and
proceed to the Volleyball Net to compete in a short game
of Volleyball. The teams will then play a round of Frisbee
Golf. If there is a tie the following teams will race over
to Tug-a-War to test who is the strongest and willful team
and finally end the Games. Before the scores will be tallied
the teams have a last and final chance to get extra points
or possibly get bump into a higher position with a Team
Cheer, Teams will group together and choreograph a team
cheer in less than 10 minutes. Cheers will be judge on Choreography,
Style, Enthusiasm, and Group Participation; The Cheer must
rhyme with the company name and must include the name of
the team.
